How big is the BIG ONE?
The Memphis Flea Market, the BIG ONE attracts 800-1,000 vendors and 20-25,000 shoppers every month.

What range of merchandise will I find?
Everything from old to new including but not limited to: antiques, jewelry, collectibles, sports cards, computers, produce, framed pictures, floral arrangements, clothing, furniture, home accessories, rugs, candles, toys, crafts, pet supplies, leather goods, concrete statues for the garden and more!

How many vendors can you accomodate?
More than 1,000+!!

What kind of facilities are available for vendors?
The BIG ONE is held at the AgriCenter International in east Memphis. It is held in the Expo Center on the grounds of the AgriCenter.

What kind of attendance do you get?
20,000-25,000 during the BIG ONE-held the third Saturday and Sunday of the month.

What kind of advertising is done to promote the BIG ONE and other events?
We implement a comprehensive advertising program to reach the entire Mid-South to include TV, radio and newspaper. We want everyone to know that the BIG ONE is the "Biggest Bargain in Fun."

Do I need to pre-pay to reserve a booth?
We give our permanent vendors until the wednesday after the BIG ONE to renew their spaces. Beginning Thursday after the BIG ONE, we release any spaces not prepaid. If there are no spaces available at that time, we start a waiting list (there are always spaces that open up for one reason or another). If your name is on the waiting list for an inside space and you do not hear from us prior to the market by phone, you can come to the BIG ONE Saturday morning of the market beginning at 7:00 am and sign a list. At 8:00 am we will walk the buildings and outside spaces. Any spaces that are not filled at that time will be released. All spaces must be pre-paid prior to the market by cashiers check, money order, credit card by phone (we accept Visa, MasterCard or Discover). There are always outside spaces available due to the enormous parking lot. However, spaces under the canopy sell quickly.

What about the collection of sales tax?
As a convenience to our vendors, we sell Tennessee state tax certificates in our office. They cost $5 for the month, $15 for the quarter and $45 for the year. An annual certificate allows a vendor to set up at any flea market in the state of Tennessee. Vendors are responsible for reporting their own income. No other business license is required to participate as a vendor.

What happens to outside vendors in case of bad weather?
The BIG ONE is held no matter the weather-rain or shine, snow or hail. However, if the weather gets extremely bad and there are inside spaces available, we will make every
effort to move those outside
vendors inside.
